Fishing
Unwind with a peaceful afternoon at our exclusive, well-stocked fishing lake, nestled in beautiful woodland just a short walk from White Rose Lodge. Disabled fishing facilities are available. A fishing permit is required, and you will need to bring your own equipment.
cycling trails
Hollicarrs is ideally located for cycling, with the Sustrans cycle track just half a mile away, offering a traffic-free way to explore the area at your own pace. Bike hire is available at reception, along with helmets and a full recovery service.
Walking trails
Hollicarrs offers an abundance of nature trails, thoughtfully carved through the trees surrounding the lodge park. These trails guide you through bluebell-filled dells, primrose-covered banks, and past our bird hide, where you can observe local wildlife.

Next door is the renowned Three Hagges Woodmeadow, managed by Plantlife International, famous for its work with wildflowers, plants, and fungi. The reserve is celebrated for its unique blend of woodland and meadow, which boosts biodiversity through a diverse range of habitats and an abundance of natural, untidy edges.

Directions
Hollicarrs Holiday Park is located on the east side of the A19 York/Selby road, about 8 miles from York, just beyond the village of Escrick.
If driving from York towards Selby, you'll pass through Escrick village. Approximately 2 miles after Escrick, look for the "Hollicarrs" sign on the left. Turn left and follow the road a short distance until you reach the main entrance on your left.
If driving from Selby towards York, you'll pass through Riccall village. About 2 miles after Riccall, the "Hollicarrs" sign will appear on the right. Turn right and follow the road a short distance until the main entrance is on your left.
